Classroom (two full days) - choose any one of 62 available UK training locations

Our easy-going and relaxed two day course is classroom-based and covers a wide range of topics to start you on the path to a career as a Phlebotomist (starting as trainee, usually NHS payband 2). A competency certificate may subsequently be issued by your employer after you have demonstrated your skills on a given number of patients, and may take from 2 to 6 weeks.

A nationally recognised and accredited certificate (awarded by the OCN Credit4Learning) can provide you with a significant step up the “career ladder” – many employers, colleges and universities throughout the UK recognise OCN credits which may count towards other courses.

The course is divided into 14 Modules over two days, starting at 9.30am and finishing at approx. 5pm on both days with tea breaks morning and afternoon and a lunch-break of approx. 45 - 60 minutes.
